Penleaze is a Victorian Farmhouse that offers delightful accommodation. We are situated in the country on the North Cornish Coast renowned for its spectacular rugged coastline, enchanting beaches and pretty villages, and not forgetting the delicious cream teas and cakes, freshly baked pasties and locally caught fish that makes Cornwall unique. We are 1 mile from Marhamchurch and 3 miles from Bude.

We have 3 Double En-Suites, 1 has a Roll Top Bath and another a Four Poster. There is also a Twin Bedroom with a Private Bathroom. All are tastefully and individually decorated. There is an elegant Dining Room in which Breakfast is served and a Sitting Room to relax in with comfy sofas and Sky+ TV and a wireless Internet Connection. Our garden has lovely views from the Summerhouse over the countryside and towards the coast.

Penleaze is a working farm of about 270 acres - we have Sheep, and Free Range Poultry. We also have some arable land which is used to produce food for our own animals. There is ample parking at the front of the house. On arrival guests will be helped with their luggage and shown to their rooms, tea is then offered in the Sitting Room. All Bedrooms have been tastefully and individually decorated in keeping with the Victorian Era of the House. All Rooms have Colour Teletext Televisions, Heating, Beverage Trays with Biscuits, Cornish Bottled Water and Fresh Milk, Selection of Toiletries a Towels

Penleaze is in the Countryside but near the coast. We are ideally situated for those that enjoy beaches and walking. Our pretty village of Marhamchurch is a 1 mile walk and has a pub that serves bar snacks and a shop.

For the energetic it is about 3 miles to walk down through the village and across the fields to Widemouth Bay (a taxi could always be pre-arranged for your return journey) which is a lovely sandy beach or you could walk into Bude along the Canal Path.

For those with bikes there is also a cycle route into Bude and we are also on the Sustrans National Cycle Route.

Bude is our nearest Town and offers a variety of shops and restaurants. There is also an indoor Bowling Alley and Childrena€™s Play Zone called Harlequins. The local Swimming Pool is situated beside. On the Canal there are Boats that can be hired.There are also numerous other leisure activities to participate in, such as Golf, Horse Riding and Fishing.
