Lydensign is a spacious 3 bedroom detached country cottage,parts of it dating back over 200 years. sleeps 6,(2 double rooms amd 1 twin)set along the peaceful Culm Valley on the picturesque Blackdown Hills now a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor are a must to visit.

Outside the cottage there are large lawns around the pond which has an abudance of wildlife, including frogs, toads, newts and dragon-flies which can be enjoyed while sitting on the private patio area around the pond. The swallows are ferquent summer visitors diving to drink in the evenings, or listen for the buzzards or at night the owls. In the surrounding fields are the shy roe deer and badgers.Otters are also in the area.

The cottage is comfortably furnished with much of the character retained, beams, low ceilings and an open Victorian fireplace.The kitchen has recently been refurbished is all electric, which includes oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble drier, kettle and toaster. Electricity, linen and towels are provided.

About half a mile away is the Village of Hemyock with a couple of shops,(well stocked) garage and a good Pub.Tennis, bowls, fishing horse riding are all near by. There are numerous farmers markets and farm shops locally which are well worth a visit.Information leaflets of the area are at the cottage for you to browse at your leisure.
