Set on a sloping lane, leading down to the sea, Carrisbrook Cottage is perfectly placed, being just yards from the scenic harbour of Newlyn. This town is perhaps one of the best examples of a working fishing village in the county, and is home to the famous Newlyn Life Boat. With the town of Mousehole just over two miles to the west and St. Ives eleven miles north. Newlyn is fast becoming a very popular destination for those looking to enjoy the best in terms of the picturesque setting and accessibility to some to Cornwalls most famous landmarks, such as Lands End, the Lizard and Penzance. The Cottage itself, has been tastefully restored by the owners to a high and comfortable standard. The main living area is complemented with comfortable soft furnishings and exposed stone work and whilst the kitchen retains a traditional feel, it is well equipped and is the ideal space for dining around the large pine table. The sun lounge projects a more contemporary feel and is the ideal spot to sit and relax, with glorious views across rooftops and out to sea.
