Lucy’s, a unique detached cottage in a sunny, south-facing position within yards of the harbour and village centre, is an idyllic retreat for two and, personally maintained by the owners, offers a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. Bright and airy, the accommodation consists of a lounge with co-ordinating furnishings, LCD TV and DVD; a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, electric cooker, fridge, washer-drier and welcome tray; on the same level the well furnished bedroom has a comfortable double bed with feather duvet and co-ordinating bedlinen; a couple of steps lead down to the fully tiled bathroom with both bath and shower. Parking is in a privately owned, undercover space 600 metres from the cottage. For ease and convenience, cars can be parked outside the cottage to load/unload.

A few steps lead to the sun-trap patio from where views of the sea and surrounding area can be enjoyed - the perfect spot for an alfresco meal, or to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Surrounded by farm and National Trust Land, the historic village of Polperro is renowned for its coastal walks, traffic free streets and quaint cottages. With local fisherman providing fishing and pleasure trips, several safe beaches nearby, a choice of restaurants and traditional pubs with real fires and real ale, there is something for everyone. The Eden Project, National Maritime Museum, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Tate St Ives and several National Trust properties, as well as the Camel Trail and moors are all within reach. Lucy’s, available all year, is the perfect base to explore Cornwall or just soak up the atmosphere of Polperro.
