Tucked away down an unmade single track, Ivy's Cabin is a real find. Alpine in design, its wooden structure is well insulated. An appealing home from home, it is comfortable and well equipped. A multi-fuel stove set into an attractive stone fireplace adds a cosy feature to the interior that is deceptively spacious.

Outside is a covered barbecue area where a pretty hump backed bridge spans a small stream and takes you to your own private grassy paddock, an idyllic secluded hideaway where you can relax and enjoy the countryside and the birdsong. The grounds extend to a large pond. Quiet and peaceful, this is a lovely setting for a holiday.

The caring owners are on hand to give you information on the nearby walks and amenities. The village boasts a friendly local pub. There are numerous good restaurants nearby. This is an ideal touring location; a six-mile drive will take you to both the north and south coasts. There is covered car parking.
