Self Catering in Padstow, Cornwall, St Petroc's

Set in the small hamlet of Little Petherick, approximately 2 miles from the very popular and charismatic harbour of Padstow, this large detached cottage is an ideal holiday destination. Full of character it has beamed ceilings, a large granite fireplace, wooden floors in some bedrooms. In the kitchen there is a Butlera€™s sink, a large pine table, ceramic tiled floor, wooden units and shelving, all reminding us of an era past. However, the addition of many modern amenities, including a handsome Rangemaster to cook on, ensures that all our comforts are catered for. There are many wonderful beaches in the area within a radius of 10 miles, the nearest being Trevone.

For those who enjoy golf the course at Constantine Bay is quite a challenge. There are large supermarkets in Wadebridge and Padstow and a good bus service runs through the village. The local pub is just over a mile away. A confined patio and border area runs along the front of the cottage leading to a stepped slate pathway on the south east side, giving access to the small secluded paved terrace garden and sheltered patio area.

A portable barbecue is supplied for guests use and bench seats are situated on the patio. There is a parking space at the rear of the property as well as parking for one small car beside the cottage and a reserved space in the car park next to the church 50 yards away.
