Pentewan is a small traditional Cornish village in a harbour side setting which lies between St Austell and Mevagissey. The village lies at the mouth of the St Austell River, and is set around a harbour, built in the 1820’s which served local stone and china. The old quay and harbour is now home to ducks and swans for a perfect setting. Hire a bike and ride down the scenic cycle paths along the stunning South Coast or even ride to the Gardens of Heligan. Pentewan really is the ideal location for visiting Cornwall, Fowey and Charlestown all within 5-20 minutes.

Sea Barn is a newly renovated barn conversion which has fantastic panoramic sea views from every room with its own private cove (shared with the owners) which is accessed through the coastal path. This really is the perfect get away. Sea Barn benefits from a large garden area with plenty of parking and outdoor seating with a barbeque area for summer evenings. This is the perfect retreat.

Set in stunning grounds, features include many little hide aways with a secret garden, benches, a pond and sea views - you really don’t have to go anywhere else.

LIVING

On the first floor is a large sitting room for the whole family to enjoy, featuring beautiful wooden beams and stunning views across the Bay. The living area consists of a large coffee table, TV, CD player and books. A comfy three seater sofa and two arm chairs are ideal for relaxing after a day on the beach.

DINING

The open plan dining area has fantastic high ceilings featuring a chandelier and a beautiful large wooden table with 5 chairs. The two wicker chairs are ideal for relaxing after dinner or when entertaining. The dining room follows into the sun room featuring a stunning French antique unit with books and games for the children to enjoy. The sun room leads out onto the garden. The adjacent kitchen included an integrated dishwasher, electric oven, fridge / freezer and microwave. Leading off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and dryer. There is a separate downstairs wc and washbasin.

SLEEPING

On the first floor the master bedroom features spectacular sea views across the Bay, antique furniture including a double bed, large drawer unit and a full length mirror. A walk-in wardrobe also provides plenty of storage.
The second bedroom is situated on the ground floor with twin beds, two bedside tables with lamps and a mirror. A door leads into the en-suite bathroom which features a shower cubicle, wc, wash basin, bidet, mirror and chrome towel rail. The bedroom leads out into the sun room with access to the garden.

The single third bedroom also located on the ground floor features a three drawer chest, mirror, clothes rail and seating.
