Watery Fowls is the largest bungalow on the popular but quiet Rosecraddoc Lodge site.
WATERY FOWLS
Self Catering in Liskeard, Cornwall, Watery Fowls
'Watery Fowls' is a privately owned, purpose built holiday bungalow on the quiet 'Rosecraddoc Lodge' site, near the village of St. Cleer, just north of Liskeard, Cornwall.
The location is very peaceful with the sound of the nearby stream creating a relaxing atmosphere and giving you that feeling of 'getting away from it all'.
Tourist attractions are within easy reach though, including Dobwalls Theme Park, Looe, Polperro, Plymouth and even the world famous Eden Project.
Garden lovers are spoilt for choice with the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cothele, Lanhydroc and Boconoc to name but a few in the area. Regret, no Hanging Gardens of Babylon though! No Wilderbeast sweeping majestically across the plains either.
The bungalow gives you comfortable accommodation for up to six people, with two doubles and one twin bedroom. Duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the rental cost.
You will have a well-equipped kitchen including a large six-seater dining table, a bathroom with shower and a separate w/c. Outside there is space for your car and a small lawned garden, the boundary to which is the narrow River Seaton. The view from the rear of ’Watery Fowls’ is over the river and into woodland. You will also have a patio at the front of the bungalow, ideal for your ’al-fresco’ meals and drinks.
The lounge offers you a leather two-seater sofa and easy chairs for all guests, along with a T.V. with Freeview channels and a DVD player. There are plenty of games for the children (and the not so young!), as well as a file packed full of ideas for your days out in the beautiful surrounding area.
The well equipped kitchen gives you an electric hob, grill and oven, a microwave oven and refrigerator, along with many utensils. You have enough cutlery and crockery all six guests and one or two extra visitors.
There are night-storage heaters in each room and portable radiators also available. Electricity is paid for through a pound slot meter. There is no gas on site. As owners, we have taken care to create a comfortable and homely environment for your holiday. We regularly use the bungalow ourselves, with our two young children and we aim to make our visitors feel as ‘at home’ as we do.
