Something special on the Roseland, is the best way to sum up what really is a very lovely cottage set in the beautiful countryside, near Caerhays and Tregony. Painstakingly refurbished by the owners whilst retaining all the character that you would expect from a property of its era, Trefern is the ideal cottage for those seeking a holiday to remember.

Set down a winding farm track the cottage is a tranquil hideaway from the hubbub of modern day life. On entering, the ground floor will immediately meet with your approval. The large lounge and formal dining area are perfectly appointed, the dining table will comfortably seat six adults and the lounge area is a great spot for an evening around the wood burning stove. Adjoining the lounge is a large conservatory, which has ample seating for the whole family.

Outside there is a wonderful, established garden, completely private and beautifully maintained. Out here you will find a proper, brick built barbecue, additional seating and even a raised viewing platform (adults only) where one can take in the vistas around the property.

The kitchen is very well appointed and benefits from having a less formal dining area and a separate utility room. The Roseland is renowned for its superb, unspoiled coastline. Veryan and Port Loe are near by as is the harbour town of Malpas and St. Just which has one of the prettiest churches and gardens to be found in the county.
