Part of Listed Farmhouse with own private sunny garden with
lawns,patio and access to 15acres of fields and woods.
There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen/dining room with
dishwasher, washing machine microwave. The living room with oak floor
and original features is equipped with flat screen TV, DVD/CD players
& woodburning stove. There is a sunny, west facing garden room with
views over the garden to fields and woodland beyond. Upstairs there
are two bedrooms, one a double with brass bedstead and en suite shower
room. The second bedroom has twin beds which can be linked as a
double and there is a half tiled family bathroom with vanity unit and
bath with shower handset. Full central heating is provided by a
radiator system and broadband internet connection is available. Dogs
are welcome by arrangement

Collaton Farm is situated in a quiet rural location at the end of its
own private lane, half way between Yealmpton and Newton Ferrers in the
South Hams area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is ample space
for
safe parking and 15 acres of fields and woods with abundant wildlife
and
bluebell walks in spring.
The River Yealm at Newton Ferrers offers waterside pubs, water sports
and in season, ferry links to the Wembury bank and the Coast Path
towards Plymouth. There are beaches at Stoke and Mothecombe within 15
minutes
drive and further afield, Bigbury, Hope Cove, Salcombe and Dartmouth
are
popular destinations. Plymouth offers everything from shopping to
tudor
history with opportunities for ferry and boat trips to Cornwall and
the
River Tamar, whilst the wilds of Dartmoor are but a short drive away.

Most visitors will arrive from the Exeter direction and will take the
A38 Devon Expressway. Continuing on the A38, after Buckfasleigh and the
Marley Head junction, take the exit at Wrangaton and follow the signs to
Yealmpton - about 8 miles.
Just after the 30mph sign at Yealmpton, turn left before the garage
towards Newton Ferrers. Continue for a couple of miles past Broadmoor
Farm then take the next left at Collaton Cross and folllw the farm lane
down to Collaton Farm.

For most SatNav users PL8 2NE will get you to Collaton Cross.

Changeover day is Friday and guests are requested to vacate by 1000hrs.

The Cottage is available from 1530hrs. Guests are requested to confirm
their approximate arrival time and the owner is usually available to
welcome them, show the property and answer any queries.
