This is an old cottage where the owners have avoided the temptation to open up both reception rooms into one. There still remains the ambience of the small cosy rooms where the stairs can be completely shut off. The cottage has been extended at the rear to include a kitchen and bathroom, but the rest remains the same and full of character

The low doors and beamed ceilings complement an old inglenook, with a large oak beam above it, which contains a multi-fuel stove. The sitting room has an attractive open fireplace. A terraced cottage, it is one of 8 most probably built for the fishermen in this quaint and prestigious village. The pub and shop are about 500 yards away. Boats can be hired for use on the Helford River, a tributary of which passes close by.

There are long sandy beaches further down the Lizard Peninsula at Poldhu Cove and Kennack Sands, about 8 miles away and Helston is 10 miles. There is parking for two cars. Approximately 20 stone steps at the rear lead to a secluded woodland garden with small patio and picnic table, overlooking the creek. There is also a table and chairs on a small quay beside the creek.
